Sister Joan Walters

Sr. Joan was my teacher at the College of St. Elizabeth. I graduated in 1980 with a degree in special education. Sr. Joan had high standards for her students. I greatly benefited being under her auspices. We kept in touch through the years. I always told her she was an excellent teacher! She told me she knew she wanted to be a Sister of Charity from the time she was a little girl! She dedicated her life to the field of education for so many years! May she now rest in peace in God's Eternal...

Sr. Joan was my teacher when I was in college at St. Elizabeth's. She had very high standards for her students. I benefitted greatly under her auspices. She told me she had wanted to be a Sister of Charity from the time she was a little girl! We kept in contact over the years.She certainly dedicated herself to the field of education!
May she rest in peace in God's Eternal Light and Love. I was blessed to have Sr. Joan as my teacher and friend.
