Not sure what to say?

I met Joan through mutual friends, Ruth Baldino, Willie Washington, and Joan Teitelman Mozenter. She was so intelligent, kind, and interesting. Attractive in every important way. I loved our time together. She made our troubled world a much, much better place. Heart-felt condolences to her family and chosen family. Most sincerely, SaraKay Smullens

Joan was my next-door neighbor for 21 years. She was a terrific neighbor and friend, always remembering birthdays and commemorating holidays. Always pleasant, I enjoyed our occasional talks, and sometime very small gatherings for wine and snacks. I miss having her next-door.

I miss her so much. Countless times I feel I need to tell her something, for sure ask her something, and share something. She was a special woman, a wonderful friend.

Joan was wonderful to work with and to be around - always had a smile on her face. She will be forever missed. Rest in peace, Joan.

Jeff, so very sorry to hear of Joan´s passing. Years ago while working in the legal sector I spent time with Joan at functions always laughing and sharing life experiences. She was a wonderful woman and will be missed.

My sincere condolences. I have had the pleasure of working with Joan over the years. You could tell that Joan's dedication, thoughtfulness, pleasant, and calm demeanor made her a special person to anyone who knew Joan. With my deepest sympathies, Joseph Vernachio PSI Personnel

Jeff: I offer my heartfelt condolences. Joan was instrumental in starting my professional career. She was my first female mentor, way before that was a norm in the industry. I will never forget her.

Joan was a wonderful, compassionate woman. She hired me at HRMML and was always there for me at work, solving any problems that came up. We shared a love of dogs and wine. She will be missed.

Jeff, so sorry for your loss. Such a wonderful woman who will be missed by so many ALA friends and business associates. Thoughts and prayers to you and the family. Jeff and Chrissy Poppel
