Not sure what to say?

I first met Dr. Weens when I was diagnosed with cancer in 2001. I loved her. She was so dedicated to her career and I got to know her assistant Carole. She also treated my husband Loring Walton and his dad when they had cancer. I am needing a hematologist and I just saw where she passed in 2020. I am saddened!!!

Please except my deepest sympathies to you and your family. As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

I first met Dr. Weens shortly after taking my first job after moving to Atlanta in 2001. I was working as a social worker for Saint Josephs Hospital. We had many difficult cases but it was obvious that her patients care was the top priority. A force to be reckoned with, admired, respected. An amazing life and career.

I loved Dr Weens. As I type this Ill never forget how she corrected me in the spelling. It is spelled with a N. Shr was a perfectionist in all that she ever did. This included her Pts, and they were her life. She also loved the Nurses that cared for her Pts. I loved hearing her speak of her parents and will never forget the mailbox that she had painted with flowers. She was so proud of it. She greatly appreciated any and all you did for her. And she loved her Carol. The Daughter she did not...

I first met Dr. Weens as a young pharmacy graduate, working my first licensed job at St. Joseph's Hospital. As my interest in the field of Oncology grew, she was invaluable in guiding me in my education. She was a very gifted person and I learned so much from her.
