My condolences to all of Joan's famiy, I have known your Mother for so many years in fact she gave me a wedding shower almost 40 years ago and the last time I saw Joan was at my Mother's funeral service (Shirley Iler) where she was so wonderful in helping at St John's.. you are all in my prayers,

To Joan's family,
It was my pleasure to get to know your mother. We had the opportunity to volunteer together for the Children's Zoo at Celebration Square fundraiser "ROO at the Zoo", which introduced the Kangaroo exhibit. She was always upbeat, enthusiastic, supportive and a joy to work with. Her warm greeting and great smile will always be remembered. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Oh, so sad to learn about your mom, Sue....I will miss her warm smile and positive attitude. How lucky her family, friends, and our community were to have had her in our lives. Mary and Rick Goedert

I knew your mom through the Master Gardener Association. She was a joy to be around. We had many laughs when she volunteered, to get her Master Gardener re-certification hours, at the Downtown Saginaw Farmer's Market.

I am truly sorry for your loss. I will remember your mom fondly. Judy Henning

Our deepest sympathy to you. We haven't seen Joan in years but did exchange a few e-mails. We have some fond memories of her. Sally and Joe Heagany Salt Lake City.

I knew Joan through the Girl Scouts and what a role model she was. She will be missed by many.

Such joy Joan brought to everyone. We can just hear her kind words, enthusiasm, loving comments about her friends and family, and that quick laugh that accompanied her ready smile. She was a warm and welcoming hostess and we enjoyed time with your mother here in Dallas as well as up on the North Branch and in Saginaw. She was our sincere friend and added so much to our life. Just think of all the recipes, talents, good advice, and humor she passed on to you all. Our condolences and love,...

MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU ALL. I REMEMBER MANY WONDERFUL TIMES WITH YOUR MOM,THAT I WILL NEVER FORGET.
