Not sure what to say?

Dearest Kathy, Debbie, Sally,
believe it or not I have just learned today of your mother's passing. My constant travels have not been conducive to my remaining informed..So many wonderful memories of your Mom- a truly exceptional lady.

I would love to hear from you/see you all again…
My condolences once again

Joan Winser was my boss when I was the Political Economic Relations Officer at the Los Angeles Consulate. She was a great Canadian and a great public servant. I will miss her.

Dear Girls,
To me and everyone she met in Los Angeles she and FCW were Canadian royalty. Her Royal Highness Queen Joan had style galore. Who will ever forget the hostess with the mostest entertaining at the Official Residence? There she was at the end of the evening --- with a glass of red wine in her right hand, a cigarette in her left and no shoes. She had extraordinary panaché in every breath she took. It is certainly a tribute to her legacy that people still continue to speak about her...

Joan's departure from this planet evokes many memories of playing together with her and her brothers when they lived on Laurier Avenue in the '30's. Although living in Australia for the past several decades, I always tried to see Joan when I returned to your shores.I'll always think wonderful things about Joanie, and will remember her forever.

Dear Sally - please accept my condolences. In the years since your family moved away from Mayfair Avenue, I only saw your Mum once, but she remembered me right away. I'll always be reminded of the Winsers when I see a willow tree!

My deepest condolences to the Winser family and friends. Although I've only known Joan during her time at Chateau, I was honored to have known such a wonderful lady ,with a big heart and a great sense of humor. I'll miss the big warm hello she would greet you with, and the following conversations that would brighten your day. Joan loved many of the people around her, her care-givers and especially her daughters. Joan will be sadly missed.

Dear Debbie, Sally and Kathy; Your mother, Joan, was indeed a global inspiration. You are her legacy as she taught you to be the kind, thoughtful and giving people that you are. May she rest in peace with your Dad.

Loving thoughts, Barbara and Charles Paterson

Dear Kathy and her siblings, I love your mom was telling me a great story of "Lorna" was a darling name, will be always remember..a true friend...

To the Winser family, I would like to offer my deepest condolences.
I did meet Joan during my visits at Chateau Westmount with my mother.
They were living on the same floor.
I enjoyed joking around with her and Juvie her caregiver.
She will be missed.
