One of my environmental Sheroes. Michigan was so lucky to have Mrs. Wolfe care so very much about our environment, and did SO SO many things to preserve and protect our State for current and future generations. She led by example, "one person can make a difference". When I was in 4th grade, she was leading a field trip walkabout and I was amazed at "her" knowledge . She also inspired me and reinforced in me that it was OK for a woman to be interested in science and pursue a science based...

As a wildlife biologist, working in Baldwin, I had a chance to meet with her and her husband at their place on the Pere Marquette River. I appreciated her concern for all natural resources and her ability to try to protect them. She was special. My sympathy to her son John and the rest of the family.

A remarkable & talented women! May she rest in peace, condolences to her family, she certainly made a difference to everyone she met.
