Read MoreJoan Young was my Aunt Peg Von Bargen's college roommate and close friend. Even when my aunt moved from New Jersey to Nevada, their friendship didn't waiver. They would visit each other once or twice a year.
I only met Joan once, but through my aunt, I feel like I knew her well. I would always ask my aunt about Joan and how she was she was doing.

Joan was a wonderful friend and travel companion for my mother, Jean Ott. Their friendship spanned many years and their travel with the Nottingham Sqares spanned the globe. What a special lady!
