Joanie and I became friends when we were in the same Pi Phi pledge class many years ago. We had so many great times and laughs during those years, and they continued when she returned to Kansas City after her time in New York. There was only one Joanie as written and she was an original for sure. Our friendship continued through our adulthood although our visits were short.
