Not sure what to say?

I just found out about Joann's death and am sad beyond belief. She and I were very good friends in the 1980s and I always give her (and other friends from that time) credit for helping me survive one of the most difficult times of my life. She was kind, honest and above all else-funny. I only wish I could have told her how much her friendship meant to me. Although it has been many years since we talked Joann remained an important part of my past and therefore an important part of my life.

Ann,I would like to send my deepest condolences. I always considered Joann one of my dearest friends growing up. You were all like family to me. I will cherish the memories we made. Thinking of you. You are in my prayers.
