Not sure what to say?

It has been a year already and I still miss my sister so very much. Jo was a faithful wife, a loving, caring and giving sister and aunt. Her family and friends miss her every day.

We were so sorry to receive the news of JoAnn's passing. We had hopes of being able to make it to the 100th Bower Reunion this year. The last one we made was in the '80's. That was when I first got to meet many of my 2nd and so on cousins. We were dearly impressed with JoAnn & her husband Dean. But we have no doubt she is resting in the arms of God and we will see her again. May God give Dean and the rest of the family peace of heart.

You know, I thought of JoAnn as the Aunt Pearl of the 21st century. Those of you of the Sharon and Bower family will know exactly what I mean. I will miss her a lot. I was waiting for her to come visit me in Charleston, SC. Guess it will have to wait till I get to heaven.

Were so sorry to hear about Joann passing. She's in heaven dancing with our mommy at Jesus feet. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

So sorry to read this news.
JoAnn was one of the first staff I met when I began volunteer work at Northern Lights. Such a sunbeam she was!
I am glad to have known her.
My best wishes to all her family.

My deepest sympathy to Joann's family. I knew her from my old church I use to attend and from talking to her at the library. Joann was such a sweet person. RIP.

Jo was a lovely sweetest person. She was my son in law's Rob's aunt. I even called her aunt Joe. She was a great aunt to all. She will be missed dearly. RIP AUNT JOE.

I, too worked with JoAnn at Northern Lights years ago. She is one of my favorite memories about working there. What a beautiful and positive person she always was. There is rejoicing in Heaven for her there, for that is surely where she is today. God bless her family.

I worked with Joann at the Northern Lights Library several, if not many, moons ago. I always thought her last name well reflected (pun intended) her countenance and presence. I've been out of touch with her, so hope she didn't suffer, but went quickly. Know that the family is in my thoughts and prayers, as is Joann.
