Not sure what to say?

When you met Bill and Joann together, all he would tell you was how much he loved her and how he met her (for the umpteenth time) and how beautiful she was. It was such a genuine love story. Bill would jokingly flirt with all women and Joann would joke, laugh and say "They can have him and he's such a flirt!" Dear Dean, I was so excited when I would see your mom at special events. She always took the time to catch up and we were always laughing when we left each other. She was the sunshine of the room. Her joy was infectious. She will be missed. Catherine Daniel

Lovely, gracious, caring, brilliant, fun - my friend Joann, as we enjoyed daughters and sons together in the same classes at Second Baptist School. Joann's memory continues to shine brightly as the stars in heaven.

Dear Sia and Dean My deepest sympathy. Your precious Mother will be remembered with admiration and love. Helen Varcados

Joann was the sweetest lady I ever met. When my parents moved here in the late 80s from New Jersey, it was because of her friendship they had so much fun. They loved JoAnn and Bill as did I. She was a Princess! Will miss her!! My condolences to the family.

What a beautiful life and a cherished woman. My humble prayers for your loss.

What a beautiful woman and what a treasured life. You must miss her dearly. My condolences and humble prayers for your family.

To all of the family, please accept our condolences.

Sia and Dean, All of Riverbend loved Joann and Bill! Often, they held hands as they walked the streets visiting their neighbors. She was beautiful, fun, and kind! She will be missed always. You both took beautiful care of her, and she will live on in your hearts forever! Many prayers for comfort in the days ahead. I know it´s not easy to lose a Mother, no matter their age. She was a special lady, I loved her! Love, Melinda Abell
