I was just thinking about Ms. Demaria so I decided to look her up. My heart broke when I found this page. I transfered from Clearview Elementary to Hutchison in 1992. She was my grade 6 teacher. She was kind but strict. I remember I didn't do one of my assignments & she handed me my first detention. I had to stay after school to finish it. Ms.DeMaria was one of the great teachers at Hutchison Elementary.
She wanted all the kids to be smart.
She is really special to me. She was the smartest and caring person I ever knew. I wish she didn't have to leave so soon. I will miss her very much.

Ms.DeMaria was a very special person. She helped everyone in everyway she could. She was one of my favorite teachers at Hutchison Elementry school. I will always admire her for her teaching skills. There is no other person like her. I will always remember her,miss her,and love her.

She gave so much to everyone and touched your heart in a special way. She was the very best at what she did and always put your children first. We will miss you and never forget you.

Whenever anyone thinks of Hutchison Elementary School the first person they think of is Jo Ann DeMaria. She was one of the cornerstones of our community.
