Even after 13 years I still miss her and think of her often

It's already February and I have just read the sad news. What a wonderful woman. To me she will always be Sak. The boss whose only words of warning on my nights off were were, "just be home in time to make breakfast".

I just recieved the news about your loved one. I am very sorry for your loss. Please know that you all will be in my thoughts during this trying time.

On behalf of Genesee County PFLAG, I want to express our condolences to Joann's family. Joann was a great advocate for the lgbt community. She will be deeply missed.

Joann was a special woman and will be missed. I knew her as staff person for Fair Winds Girl Scout council, and a dear friend of my daughter Linda Barnhart. I know that all that knew her work in Scouting will agree that she was a great role model for girls. Rest in peace Joann

Like those before me, in this guestbook, I am somewhat in shock and at a loss for words. I am so sorry to hear of Joann's passing, and especially sorry that I was not aware of it until now, 2 weeks later.

Joann was one of my best friends in high school, we were both active in Girl Scouts and Explorers. We celebrated each others birthdays, and when she went off to college (her being a year ahead of me) my parents drove me over to spend weekends with her.
