Not sure what to say?

I am heartbroken to hear about this. I was a student with Joann for easily over a decade, but we lost touch many, many years ago. She was an incredibly influential part of my life and I will always remember her with deep fondness. I'm sending my love to her family and her friends and to all the people who were touched by this pure soul. Thank you for everything, Joann.

My deepest condolences to Bob, Joshua, Jonathan, and other family and friends on Joann's passing, which I only became aware of today (4-Jan-2022) from another cousin of mine. I first learned of Joann in Dec-2009 and we first spoke in Jul-2010, when thanks to the Internet I was able to locate her in PA shortly before her and Bob's relocation to CA. We had some wonderful exchanges, mostly via email, in the following years, for which I'm very grateful, while it also saddens me greatly to realize...

Dear Bob, We share your loss at this time. During the past two years we have also lost brother, Rob and his wife Karen and my neice, Jada (my sister, Adrienne's only child). We take time to draw on wonderful memories of our loved ones. Hoping you are well. Love, Diane & Ernie (sonny) Pyle.

Our deepest sympathies to Bob and family. Joann was a rare gem and will be deeply missed. She had a strong, creative, and loving influence on our boys who were in Metastages for several years. They learned about leadership, confidence, and living your dream. Thank you for all the good work you and Joann have done to make this world a better place.

May Joann Rest In Heavenly Peace. Thank you for sharing your talents with us. My condolences to Bob, sons and families.

Deeply saddened by this news. She was a rare and beautiful spirit, loved by all who knew her. Condolences to Bob and the boys.

Bob,
I just learned of Joann's passing. An angel in this life she is surely walking in the light in the next. My love to your and the boys.

Dear Bob,
What a shining light Joann was. I don't think I have ever met a person so big-hearted and generous. I can still hear her musical voice saying my name on the phone. Her laugh was like bells. My thoughts are with you and all your family and hope that the memories of your rich and loving life together will sustain you through this dark time.
Fondly,
mary
