Not sure what to say?

I was a childhood friend of JoAnn's. I have not seen her in over 20 years, but over these years memories of her would pop in my head. She gave me some of the best laughs of my life. She was a blast! My mother just passed away last week and Kathie responded to her guestbook. I was shocked to hear the news about JoAnn. Though she lived a short life, it is clear from her obituary and this guestbook that she was loved very much and loved very much. I was blessed that we crossed paths in this...

To the entire Stark Family:

My heart goes out to all of you. Although it's been a long time since grade school I have many fond memories spent with JoAnn. It was such a good feeling to see her at the reunion 4 years ago. She was truly one of the GOOD ONES and will be deeply missed by all who knew her and whose lives she touched. God Bless to all of you with my deepest sympathy.

Chris

Kathy,
I am so sorry to hear about JoAnne.
My deepest sympathy to you and your family.

To one of the most special families that I know:

Mary Claire- You are the sweetest little girl and one of the apples of your mom's eye! She is now your special angel watching over you! I love you!
Miss Riley

Kayleigh- What can I say to you? We have laughed together and cried together. I hope that we have many more wonderful times together. I guess that through Girl Scouts I'm stuck with you, huh? Only kidding! You have your mom's sense of humor, except...

Dear Stark family,
I give you my deepest sympathy to you all. JoAnn had so much fun and grace in everything she did. No matter how angry you were at something she always knew of a way to make a smile on your face. Not everyone had the same qualities like JoAnn she was unique. She just had something about her that made you get a feeling like you knew her all of your life. I know for a fact that JoAnn is one of the best examples to live life. To live it like your last. You should be proud.

Dear john, Kayliegh, and Marie Claire

we will never forget JoAnn. I think about her a lot and the fight that she put up in order to survive. The few common qualitys about JoAnn is that when she walked into the room this smile of hers just spread everywhere when it spread it attracted everyone to her. To meet her and to see what she is like. And i know that you Kayliegh and Marie Claire will take that quality and show it to everyone and say " I got that from my mom."

John, Kayleigh, Mary Claire,
I was overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and genersoity that was displayed by the hundreds of people last week.
I have heard it said in the past that you get what you have given. That could not have been more obvious this week. JoAnn never asked for anything, and gave everything. It was our final opportunity to show her our gratitude for all of the unselfish love and kindness she gave to each and every one of us for so many years.
Thank you...

John, Our deepest sympathy for your loss. Our thoughts & prayers are with you and your children.
