My dearest cousin Joan, Words are hard to find to express the loss I feel in my heart. We were always there for one another throughout the many years. Remembering so many family gatherings that we were so fortunate to enjoy in our lives. The memories of us doing funny and crazy things will always be in my heart as the love I have always felt for you. You are at peace now. Till we meet again Leslie

Joni was always gracious and humorous about the fact I was a Cajun who didn't eat pork. I used to tease her about me being the only kosher Cajun she knew. I enjoyed many wonderful dinners with her and Greg. She will remain in my heart.

She was such a wonderful person. She was such a comforting person in my life at Runnels. Her presence was so calming and she allowed me to be creative and intuitive. Sending love to your family.
