JoAnn Pickard

We always loved this beautiful lady! She was a joy! I’m so sorry to hear she passed. Her daughter Marianne and I were born in the same hospital on the same day. My mother Mildred Evans and my Aunt Mary Anne loved Jo Ann all her life. She is great missed by many.

I feel like I have known JoAnn Pickard my whole life. As a child, I thought she was a celebrity and royalty. Fast forward, her daughter, Marianne and I became very close friends while attending Union University together and that friendship grew into a life-time friendship where we became family for each other. Marianne would host cook-outs at her house and JoAnn was often there and so I got the know this celebrity and royal person on a personal level and still thought she was royalty after...

I am so sorry to read of Mrs. Pickard passing away. Kay and I were classmates and attended First Baptist Church for many years together. I will keep the family in my heart and prayers during this difficult time of loss.
