I am so sorry to hear of her passing.
I had her as a teacher many years ago.
She was like another mother to me back then.
Heaven help me if i was in trouble, because i would hear it from her, then she would call my mom, and i’d hear it again.
She was the same way with any praise.
I interviewed her for a report many years later, on the most influential teacher in my life. She still stands out as the best teacher in my life and an all around beautiful soul.

I want to extend my deepest sympathy to the family. My mom grew up in New Iberia, Delores Gilmore her mother is Dorothy Gilmore and she brought us to New Iberia a few time and we had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Josie and she was a joy to be around. I pray comfort for the family. Hold on to all of the precious memories you have!!

Just wanted to share my heartfelt condolences to the family, friends of Ms. Josie Raymond. My distinct memory of Mrs. Raymond was at J. B. Livingston in the fourth grade. Her kind, genuine spirit made my elementary school experience a special one. Peace, comfort and strength for your loss.
