Joann Marie Riley

I was fortunate to be a graduate assistant at EMU at a point in time when Joann worked there. She was gregarious, fun, and very dedicated to educating students. Very highly respected as an educator at the University level. I was also blessed to have her daughter Kate as a student at Saline HS where I student taught. Knowing Joann, Karen, and Laura made my life better! I am sure her children and grandchildren will miss her very much. Just cherish the memories, they last forever.

Laura, I remember meeting your Mother for lunch with you in Oak Brook, I think. Mikey was a very young baby, if my memory serves me right. I felt a bond with her and as I read her obituary, I realized she was only four months older than I and came from a large family, too. My thoughts, love, and prayers are with you and your family as you grieve her loss. Cheryl
