My deepest condolences to Joann's family. She was a kind, generous woman and I am glad I was able to get to know her. She always had words of encouragement and advice during my rough times. I will miss her dearly.

Well, she was a smart, tough lady and I am so glad you were able to enjoy her for so long. I am still so happy my mom was able to spend time with her on her 100 th birthday. To the Sammuelson Family - Just letting you know that your mom and I go back several years to the early 1940's. She was my babysitter during my early years when living on Irving Street. ( I am now 85) I have a photo of her wheeling me in a baby carriage. I also have great memories as a teenager saying Hi to her and Carl when going to the First Baptist Church. They were so friendly to all!. More recent memories have been going over to see her every year when we lived at the lake 1997-2011,...

I so admired Mrs. Samuelson. She was always so smart,strong, and witty. I dealt with her at my job but always thought of her.
