I have lost a good friend and friendship over the years. When I moved back to area with babies, my mom said "I want you to meet someone who is new to area and needs a friend ". And so it began... she often told me how well her sons took care of her and the love the family gave her. I know she would have stayed longer if she could have, but at last she is pain free and at peace. April

Dear Todd and Dave,
JoAnn was a dear friend, who welcomed us with open arms, when we moved from Maryland to Queensbury, NY in July, 1982. She did so much helping us to orient to the area, hosting a wonderful baby shower for our son, Eric, who was able to attend due to his earlier arrival in August, and hosting birthday parties for me and new friends. Although we departed Queensbury in April, 1991, we continued to keep in touch through birthday cards, emails, phone calls, Christmas...

Dave and Todd, sending our condolences. We were shocked to see your message on face book . When Joann lived in glens Falls we met about once a month for lunch. I missed her so much when she moved to Fla. We talked on the phone and sent cards to keep in touch, but had no idea she was ill. She truly was a special person and spoke of you boys so often. Carl worked with your Grandfather and Dad, so he knew them well. Your Mom will never be forgotten. Sincerely, Carl and Carol

My thoughts and prayers go out to JoAnn´s family, and to her pride and joy, sons David and Todd. I will always cherish my childhood memory of Mrs. Sheridan and her kind nature to us neighborhood kids that were always welcome in their lives. I hope in this time of loss JoAnn´s family can find some peace during their loss of a wonderful woman.
