Joann and I were golfing partners in the Sheridan golf women´s league. Sometimes Joann would shine and sometimes I would shine. We were friendly competitors. Also, casino buddies, win or lose didn´t really matter because we had fun together. The thing I´ll always remember is how contagious Joann´s laugh was. She fought the battle and finally has found peace.
