Not sure what to say?

Dear Step-Family,
Your mother will be missed deeply and shall always remember her with love. We were blessed to have had Joann as our stepmother by marriage to Victor Wilson. We will always treasure her kindness of heart, comforting voice, friendship, love and fellowship shared.
God Bless You and Your Families. Heb.11:1

Please accept my sincere sympathy on your loss. I met Jo Ann just this past spring at St. Joseph Hospital in Houston and immediately we hit it off. I was waiting for my daughter to finish her radiation treatment and Jo Ann was waiting for Victor to finish his treatment. We talked about several things and discovered we had a lot in common, for one....were both quilters! We exchanged phone numbers and said we would get together later on in Spring and visit. I saw her a couple more times at...

Karen and Brett,
My deepest sympathy for your loss. I know that you will miss JoAnn, but rest assured that she is in a better place where there is no more pain. JoAnn was a wonderful Christian, Mother and Friend.

My condolences to Karen and her family for their loss..Joanne was a very special person. The last time I saw her was in 2001 when she visited Austin with her son Bret and stayed overnight with me. I took her to a Friendships Force meeting in the country which I think she enjoyed and fitted in quite well. I wish I could have seen more of her. Martha Howard Schumacher...Austin, Tx.

i'm not real good at this, i remember aunt Tudie like it was yesterday (in fairfax) with uncle Joe teachin me the peppermint twist.
i hate death, i always will because
of my mom dieing. i wish Tudie peace
and i hope she likes heaven.

It is hard to know how to begin, since I knew JoAnn all my life. She was known to her Howard family members as "Tudie". To me, "Aunt Tudie" is part of my earliest memories of visiting family in the northern VA and Washington DC area, in Dad's 1950 Dodge. She was married then to "Uncle Joe" Howard and they lived in Fairfax, VA. Joe worked for American Airlines which was their "ticket" to Houston, Texas. I remember Aunt Tudie's kindness when we visited in Fairfax. She made me feel special...

Karen,I was sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. I pray that you and your family can accept God's decision that it was time for her to stop suffering and go to a better place. Strive to get there and see her again one day. My thoughts and prayer are with you and your family.

Though I never got a chance to see (only pictures) or visit her, she sounded so sweet on the phone. Victor Wilson was my grandpa. The two will be missed forever.

Of what little time spent with Joann, she was a wonderful person! My mother reminded me that she had made my first birthday cake. The last time I saw her was last year at my parents for the Fourth of July. It was wonderful to see her and meet Vic. See will be missed deeply. My best regards to her children and grandchildren! My thoughts and prayers are with them.
