What a wonderful, delightful, kind, intelligent, funny woman she was! I am only just now seeing this. My belated sympathy, prayers, & condolences to her family. I have SO many fond memories of her, whether from church growing up or her fine hospitality, her Erma Bombeck articles on her refrigerator, her interview with me in 1983 for the Cheyenne Edition, or catching up with her & Lindsay Sr at parties once my wife & I moved back to Colorado Springs in 2002. My lifetime memories of Joanna are numerous as we became friends 50 years ago. What a talented woman she was! She was loved and respected by all of her many friends. We loved Joanna and her sense of humor. We enjoyed her annual Christmas card to our family filled with updates on her family and it was obvious she was so proud of her children and grandchildren. We extend our deepest sympathies to Lindsay and the entire family.
