Joanna May

Sister Joanna was my teacher at St. Clement Elementary. We were all impressed that her father invented Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. I still remember how kind she was.

Joanna was a special part of my experience as a Physician Assistant student at SLU. She always had a smile and an uplifting comment to help us through the difficult days and an enthusiastic congratulation on our successes. I know the program will not be the same without her. Joanna, you were part of the success of all of us and we will miss you.

Joanna your Pilates class on Tuesday´s will miss you greatly. We enjoyed our Tuesday evenings with you and hope Marie and I did not shock you with all our stories. RIP.

Joanna was my high school French teacher, Journalism and Home Ec teacher. I enjoyed all of her classes. She was the first of the Sisters of Providence to introduce me to St. Mary of the Woods College, of which I am an alum. I made some of my best friends during those college years, so to say she was an influence in my life would be an understatement.
