Not sure what to say?

Chris I was sorry to hear about the passing of your MOm. She sure had a wonderful life. Your ex babysitter.

I mostly knew Joanna through her wonderful son Christopher, whom I had the privilege of babysitting in his very early years. My most recent memory of Joanna was when she met my sister, my mother, and me in a parking lot of Chelsea just to give a hug and smile especially to our elderly mother as we were on our way to northern MI. Joanna was a special loving soul that I was blessed to know. God's peace and comfort to you Christopher and your amazing family. Hugs, Kari

I am so very glad that I was able to spend happy time with Joanna. We had a wonderful time going to art shows. She was an asset to the Jackson Community. My family always respected Joanna. She was warm, intelligent, creative, and did a great service wherever she worked. I am so sorry for the loss to you Christopher, and your family. most sincerely, Linda

Chris and family, I spent a lot of time with Joanna as she was affiliated with The Brokerage House, Inc. She was an outstanding woman filled with the desire to do what was right. I think you will have inherited her strength and will power. We will miss her. Bob

Gary, you used to stop by & visit me, on your way home from work. Mike Morio introduced us. I met Joanna a number of times during our friendship. Please let me offer "a spiritual shoulder" to lean on during your dark hours. Stop by & visit me. 19109 Powers Drive.

Chris, I am so sad to see this. I was just talking about your mom with a mutual friend a couple weeks ago. Please accept my sympathy for your loss. How well I remember the months following her surgery in 2008, and her fight to return to independence! It was a privilege to know Joanna and call her a friend.

Joanna and I served the Jackson community together as members of the Jackson Junior Welfare League. Joanna was a dedicated and tireless contributor to JJWL, helping with both our Super Sale and Gala Fundraisers as well as our various projects. In later years, watching her struggle with her health challenges and yet determined to carry on, I was inspired by her perseverance. My condolences to her son and family. Rest In Peace, Joanna!

Joanna was someone I admired from the moment I first met her many years ago. As the years went on my admiration for her deepened as I watched the manner in which she faced her very serious illness. To her Family I say , you can be ever so proud to have this woman in your life and to hopefully carry her genes for strength and honor!

Chris and family: I am deeply saddened by Joanna´s passing, but I know she would not have wanted the loss of independence that her condition required. She was a good friend for many years, and I had hoped to visit her on Friday. Sadly, Brian emailed me that morning to let me know of her death. I know she is at peace and happy to be free. I will always remember the years we leaned on each other as we each had our life´s challenges. The words at the end of her obituary are from my very favorite...
