Joanne was an instant friend to all who met her. My introduction to Joanne was through a ministry where she first witnessed to me and then to work side-by-side. She encouraged me to pursue my love of writing and as many have said had a special gift of humor! Condolences to her family as even though I never met you, you came alive through her conversations about you!

We are so sorry for your loss. We miss Joanne & her bright and compassionate spirit at Kairos Outside South MS as we served together on teams to minister to women affected by incarceration of loved ones or themselves. May God be with you.

My deepest condolences for the loss of Joanne. I met Joanne when I began the computer training program at the Jackson-George Regional Library System, over 20 years ago. She has always been concerned for the welfare of others and that is especially true at our library system. I am proud to have worked with her and to have been her friend. May she rest peacefully in Paradise.

Joanne was a friend. She was such a caring person and was someone who could answer any and all questions about the history of Pascagoula. The love between Chic and Joanne was so obvious. I will be praying for the family during this difficult time.
