JoAnne was a role model for me as a young woman, from coping with the terminal illness of a spouse, thru readapting after personal injury to reinventing herself as an older woman by going after a long delayed higher education and new career. She showed me thru her life that you have choices to move beyond adversity and redefine who you are. Thank you, Marty for providing love,companionship and caring for her in the later part of her life. I wish peace to all her children in their loss.

I'm a member of Rose City Park Methodist Church. As a young child in the 1950s, I remember hearing the most amazing bass voice that I've ever heard. The man's name was Les DenBeste. I'm guessing that Lester and Les were the same man. Peace to your family. Richard
