CLOSED-Harvey Family Funeral Home Obituary

Joanne Marie BOYLE

Born June 15, 1943 in Spokane, WA; died February 23, 2015 in Seattle. Daughter of Van and Delores Gloth. Survived by Daniel, her loyal and loving husband of 50 years; her children, James, John, Jeffrey, and Joseph (Scott); sisters, Peggy Gloth-Klein (Jeff) and Patty Inman (Rand); and a large extended family. Her brother James (Kathy), and her sister Mary Ellen (Robert) predeceased her.

She graduated from Blanchet H.S., spending several years afterwards working for Albertson's, where she met her husband. They were married in 1965, after which she devoted herself to raising four sons and being a remarkable wife, mother, and homemaker.

Joanne returned to work for Albertson's when her sons were older, spending over twenty years with the company. She was an avid reader, gardener, chef, home decorator and entertainer - mastering the art of celebrating Christmas with her army of Nutcrackers and bringing amazing joy to her family and friends. Joanne loved helping people, and was a tremendous supporter of all things for kids. We will miss her energetic laugh, passion for happiness, and love for exceptional achievement!
