I will always remember this wise and powerful Elder as a warrior for our people. I feel so blessed to have memories of her sharing inspirational stories and pictures of her family and how proud she was to be an American Indian. She will be truly loved and missed.

Always a smiling face and greeted me every time she saw me at the General Council. She will be missed and never forgotten.

Cousin Joanne was always a remarkable woman in many ways. I admired how she raised her 3 sons independently after her husband died. She will be missed but I'm sure she is organizing everyone around her and loving it! Travel safely dear lady! See you again!

Jo-Jo was an amazing individual and her loss will be felt by so many. We will miss her and keep her in our hearts.
