I am so sad to hear this news and I can't imagine what it must be like to lose your mother. My heart goes out to you all and I hope peace will find you. She was a very big part of my childhood, and the efforts she made to in those days to provide for everyone, to ensure a happy childhood for us all, are unsurpassed. She was a great woman and a great mother.

Jackie,Craig, Joey, J.T. & Brenda:So very sorry for your loss.Joanne and I go back, 70+ years, so I have many wonderful memories of her. Sorry I can't be with you at this most difficult time, but I am so thankful I got to spend time with her in May when we came to N.C. Please know the Cathey family are in my thoughts and prayers. I met Joanne through Nelda Wolfe and Grove Park Baptist Church. Joanne was always such a kind and sweet person. When we talked she was always praising the Lord for his mercy and grace. She will be missed by many who knew and loved her.
