Not sure what to say?

To my sister in christ Joanne Connor. From your sister in christ Cecelia Henderson. You don't know how much I miss you, you don't know how much I cry. But I know you are up in heaven, watching me by & by. I miss the 9 am phone calls, and also the calls at noon, I still can't believe your gone, you left me way to soon. When night falls I really get sad, I miss all the fun we had. But I asked GOD to help me hold on, now that your gone. I'll miss your visits when you would stop by after...

To The Connor Family: May you find comfort in knowing that her genuine, beautiful and radiant smile has lit the world in which she lived. Trust GOD to take "one day at a time."

Jayson & Veronica,
We grew up together in church. I remember your mom's sweet smile as we would pull into the church parking lot and see her sitting in her car. She'd always say, I love you! And I'd always say, I love you to Miss Joanne. She ALWAYS called when I was on bed-rest just to see if I was ok and needed anything. That was one of her many ministries God blessed her with. I will always remember to "sow seeds". She was never concerned about how much she got, just that you make a...

Jason and Veronica
I had many occasions to be in your mothers company, not only at Family affiars but at church events. We ran into each other quite often. What a lovely, lovely woman of God. I know I do not have to tell you that. I love you both. Aunt Bernie

To the family of Ms.Joanne, I just want you to know that I knew Ms. Joanne because she was good friends with my mother Cecelia Henderson. I spoike with her recently while visiting my mother and I told Ms Joanne that I am about to go to Iraq. She wished me well and told me she loved me. I will never forget the way she said "HEY Baby I LOVE YOU". May she rest in peace.
With whole hearted love

Joanne's family and my family were neighbors on William Street. She and I were born in the same year and were almost like brother and sister during our early childhood. Her father, Mr. Ken, built a playhouse in her backyard which became a gathering place for a number of the kids in the neighborhood during our pre-teen years.

I will always remember her as a warm, vibrant, energetic and just plain "nice" person. But most of all I will remember her as a GOOD FREIND.

Dear Ms. Joanne,Thank you for the clothes that you have gave me. When I wear them, I will always think of you. Love AlwaysDontrece Tasker

To the family,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

We will always remember Joanne as a very pleasant person. She was always a joy while getting her hair done at Play It Again Sam, back in the day. I believe Margaret K was her hair stylist.

Rest in Peace, Joanne
