Joanne Sherk and I attended Susquehanna Twp. High School in Harrisburg, PA. In our senior year, she was elected by the student body as Miss Susquehanna, a singular distinction to be sure. Jo was a beauty, inside and out. She was one of our class' best, admired and respected for her engaging personality and contributions to school life.
