I loved Joanne! She was such a welcome smile and spirit every time I walked up an over Beaconhill! I loved seeing her at her post at the Statehouse and across the street at the 21st! Much love and such adoration to your family. Xo Jen Whitmore

To the Croken Family: Please accept my deepest sympathies. My family and I had been friends with your dad. When I had business at The State House, I would so enjoy running into Joanne. She was such a wonderful welcoming person. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, Michael Sullivan

Joanne will surely be missed by all of us. We will miss her wit, hearty laugh, kindness and a bit of sarcasm. For me personally she was watching out for me during some recent struggles and I very much appreciated that from her. It is truly sad that she has left us so unexpectedly. Rest in Peace JoJo
