I met Joanne very early in my career with the Cleveland Schools. She was very talented and a brilliant person. She was very fair and dedicated. She was a SUPER President of the Cleveland Teachers Union. She will be missed by MANY. Rest In Peace. Evelyn

Joanne was my Social Studies department chair at Audubon in the 1980s. She was such a beautiful person. When she heard my wife and I had a baby girl in 1991, she sent me a book I still have: "Love you forever " by Robert Munsch. She was always thinking of someone else. I miss you, Joanne.

A great leader but even more a great person. Eternal Rest Grant Into Her,Oh Lord and May Perpetual Light Shine Upon Joanne.May her family be comforted.
