Not sure what to say?

To All Who Love JoAnne,

I always had a soft spot in my heart for lovely JoAnne. JoAnne and I first met when we started working at Gates McDonald in 1985. We had some really fun times together that I will never forget. Sometimes, it is true that the good die young. That is certainly the case with JoAnne. What a brave and valiant effort she gave to stay alive. I am so sad she has departed but she will stay alive in our hearts and minds forever.

Joanne was such an inspiration to me. She was a classmate and a study buddy during my first year of law school. I lost my husband and my mother during that first semester, and, as I struggled through exams, another semester and another round of exams, wondering how I would ever be able to do it, I learned that Joanne went to class, studied for and took her exams - knowing that, when exams were done, she faced cancer surgery. Her courage and determination will forever be an inspiration to...

I am so sorry to hear of JoAnne's passing. I met JoAnne the first quarter of college at Ohio State in 1976. I was proud to call her my best friend for so many years after that. I have so many great memories of the fun we had over the years, from the time we spent in Taiwan to trips we made coast to coast, and just hanging out endlessly. She touched my life in so many ways. Another mutual college friend (Linda) recently put it well in saying 'JoAnne is one of those people with a special...

Dear Olga, & JoAnne's many loved ones:

How sorry I am for your loss and how I share in grieving the great friend person and inspiration JoAnne was to us all. I too met JoAnne when we were wide-eyed scared first-year law students at UAkron. From her steadfast determination to finishing law school amidst the additional struggles, to the wholehearted changes she made to her diet, to the sheer joy on her face when she was honored as a survivor by the Cleveland Rockers, she never...

JoAnne was a wonderful, talented and caring person. We will truly miss her. I am very sorry to hear that the world has lost another good person. May God bless you with the support of friends amd his love to help you through this difficult time.

JoAnne was my classmate and study partner at Akron U and I count her as a dear friend. She was funny, kind, and always interested and interesting. What courage JoAnne displayed. I will miss her greatly. May you find confort and peace and may God display his mercies upon you.

Olga,
JoAnne will be truly missed by many. She was kind, modest and very giving. She touched my life in ways that forever changed me. I am honored to have known her. Her spirit will be with me always. May the comfort and the arms of our living God carry you now and forever.

I am so sorry for your loss, may the God of all comfort and tender mercies be with you in your time of grief.
