Not sure what to say?

I just read Subday's paper & saw that Jo had died. I'm so sorry. I always appreciated how warmly she treated me. You're all in my prayers. With sympathy, Barb (Hamman) Gladman

Carl and Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We remember a friend's Mother, our children's teacher, and a great person.

I will always remember seeing her walking past my house on her way to the post office each day and saying hello or stopping to visit on the sidewalk. Prayers for the family on your loss. Paula, Spud & Alex

Jo will truly be missed as she was such a light in the school, her family, her community, and to every life she touched. When I think of her it has always been with admiration for the beautiful, kind spirit she had. What a pleasure to have known her and what a gentle legacy she leaves behind. My prayers are with her children and her family.

Jo was not only my kindergarden teacher I considered her my friend. I miss our daily talk every morning at the post office. She was so proud and loved her family so much. She always talked about them and would show me all her new pictures as soon as she got them. She was a sweet lady that will be greatly missed by all.

Ms. Hamman was one of the best elementary teachers ever. She made school fun and she genuinly cared about her students. She will be truelly missed.

I'll never forget how much I looked forward to Jo Hamman's Bible School class as a very young child. No matter how much we acted up, she always took it right in stride with a kind pat and gentle smile. And, we made absolutely the coolest things in Arts and Crafts under her watchful eye. She was a special person and a real credit to Clarksburg and beyond.

I can remember Jo from a really early age maybe 5 or 6 and have always been her friend. I used to help her out from time to time when I got older and she really showed her appreciation. She always called me her "second son" which meant a lot to me. My family will miss her so much but the memories will last forever. God Bless Jo!

Mrs. Hamman made such a difference for us when we were in elementary school. Her smile and kindness will always be one of my favorite memories. I was fortunate to have seen her several times over the past many years. Our loss is heaven's gain. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
