Harland and family, So sorry for your loss. She sounds like such a special person. Our prayers are with you.

She was such a dear person and great hostess to our Tuesday Musicale group

Dear Holman Family, we first met your mom when our son and Hillary were going to attend Kindergarten. We had a little gathering for all the neighborhood 5 year olds to make sure they knew one another and felt more comfortable riding the big bus to school. Over the years, we attended Joanne and Tom´s Christmas parties; also events for both the Tuesday Musicale and the JSO. Harlan proved to be our boys favorite sitter, and the horses were a big hit as well! Hillary and our Tom were classmates...

Joanne was a wonderful person. Loved their musical Christmas parties, serenaded by wonderful string melodies. Condolences to Tom and the entire family.

Joanne was always at every Guild event taking photos. She acted as the historian for the Guild for many years. She was a kind, gentle lady who always made you feel seen & heard. We will miss her. Sue Rochester

We have decades of wonderful memories of Joanne, from her wedding, where my Dad played the harpsichord that Dr. Tom had made for Joanne, to our wedding, where Joanne cut our wedding cake, to a Jackson Symphony concert about a year and a half ago where Dr. Tom and Joanne were honored. We will always remember Joanne´s smile and warmth, her concern for others, her love of family and friends. What a gift her friendship was to my parents and to us!

My sincere sympathy and prayers for you Dr. Tom and the rest of your wonderful family. I will always have love and respect for Joanne and Dr. Tom ! Joanne will forever have a special place in my heart !

Tom, we are in tears and are so sorry to see this. Joanne was such an integral part of the Choit at FUMC and a joy to sing with. She will be missed so very much. Please accept our sincere and deepest condolences on the loss of Joanne. Respectfully, Colleen and Bob Smith
