Joanne M. Jester

Joanne M. Jester, 76, of Ft. Washington, PA, died on May 5, 2013 at Temple University Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late John P. Jester, Sr. Born in Philadelphia on May 13, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Charles J. and Josephine A. (Schwer) Flynn. Joanne was a graduate of Gwynedd Mercy College. She was a Controller for Jester Associates for over 40 years. Joanne was a member of St. Alphonsus Church. She loved spending time with her family, enjoyed Long Beach Island and dining out. She enjoyed having a good conversation with everyone she met. Joanne is survived by her sons John P. Jester, Jr. (Beth) of Chalfont, Joseph C. Jester (Karen) of North Wales, her grandchildren J.Patrick, III (Meredith), Matthew, Joclyn, Joseph, Kristi , Jacquelyn Jester, her great-grandchildren JP Jester, IV and Kianna Pierce, her brother Charles Flynn, and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends will be received at 10:00 followed by a Funeral Mass on Friday, May 10, 2013 at 11 at St. Alphonsus Church, 33 Conwell Drive, Maple Glen, PA 19002. Interment will be in St. John Neumann Cemetery.
