Not sure what to say?

Way back in the seventies Joanne and I had so much fun in our "Christmas Cookie Club". We both absolutely loved the Christmas festivities. I miss her very much. Sending love and prayers to the family.

Merle and Family, I'm so sorry to hear about Joanne's passing away. I have fun memories of working with Joanne in Snohomish. We shared a similar sense of humor. We loved to follow instructions literally, expressly as written, to the letter! Always a job well done! I'm thankful, too, she shared her 'artsy-crafty' talents with me, teaching me to make her seasonal decorations, my items now more special to me. Most important, I'm thankful Joanne knew Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior...

Dear Merle and family, I am thinking of you all and sending love and healing thoughts in this time of loss. Joanne's life was well lived and she will be missed by many. Karen Charnell

Memories - let them fill your mind, warm your heart, and lead you through this difficult time.

Always Mrs K to me. Always like a second mom. For the people that have been blessed to know families like the Kirkley’s, you can relate. I was accepted into their fold of love like another child. Even got in trouble like one from time to time! So many memories of the times I spent with all the Kirkley family. I could go on and on! Two I will share. One particular evening as we were about to have 1 of countless dinners I had at Ave A, I started to run cold water into a pan that Mrs K had...

Merle & family: I feel very blessed to have had a chance to spend some wonderful time with Joanne both in Hawaii and in Snohomish when we would meet up. My heart goes out to you all and I know that you will all cherish the wonderful memories you have of your life with Joanne. My prayer is that you will all find peace in these memories that you can cherish for the rest of your life.

Thank you for your friendship, dear Joanne. I am thankful for the times we shared and the fond memories. Rest In Peace, sweet friend.

Merle, so sorry for your loss.

Joanne was an amazing woman and she will be missed by all that ever had the pleasure to meet her. Rest in Paradise until we meet again Joanne. All of my love to you Merle, Kristin, Hannah and family! ♥
