We are never prepared for the passing of a loved one even though we know it is inevitable. Our comfort is that our dear sister Joanne was a true believer in God and with that we know she is home in heaven with Jesus and all our loved ones who have gone before her. What would I like to say, the website asks. What words are there to describe the "blithe spirit" Joanne? A devoted wife to Richard (she showed good taste!); a no-nonsense but loving Mom and Grandmother; a person who was fun to be with. A generous and forgiving woman who met life headlong with all its ups and downs and lived fully "in the moment." For a life "well lived":
