Not sure what to say?

I knew Joanne from Hickory street Church of Christ. She was an awesome friend from the first time we met. I visited with her and Don several times when they were there on Dye Road. She too called me "DEAR HEART". I think that was a name she gave lots of people She is truly missed. In Christ Zeda Lavinder

The world is indeed missing both Joanne & Don. I am also going to include a brief memorial on MichiganStorytelling.org.

My condolences goes out to the family. I remember mother goose from my childhood days. We look forward to hearing a story, while our mother looked for books for her, we would sit on the floor with our legs crossed. What fun memories. I'm 46 and I still remember her.

Joanne was one of my Moms(Alverda Page) favorite people. I did not realize she was just a year younger than my oldest sister. Mom was always so glad when Joanne visited, and they talked about new books and Mother Goose adventures. thanks David for sharing her with us these last years since mom has been gone.

Such a gentle caring woman. She made me a better person by her actions

I went to school with Carl and remembered your Mom well, she was SO nice.
My deepest sympathies to Carl and the family.
