Not sure what to say?

I'm sorry to hear of the passing of Joanne.I met her husband Stephen Richard on phone and email when he was researching Luppi relatives in the U.S.A. He mentioned his deep love for his wife & family and gave me a nice gift relating to his business. I very much enjoyed talking to him.I respectfully give my sincere condolences to the entire Luppi family.

I was shocked and greatly saddened when I received this link through the horticultural email! I look forward to catching up with Joanne every Xmas time for the Salmon River Xmas Bird Count. She was such a warm & kind woman. I feel fortunate to have known her & feel so sad for her family. I can only imagine what a wonderful mom she was. I hope happy memories keep you strong.

My deepest sympathies to Joanne's loving family and many friends. Joanne contributed so much to the Town of Portland; as a leader, educator, environmentalist; kind and wonderful woman. I will miss her very much. Sincerely, Susan Bransfield

On behalf of the members of CT Horticultural Society,I extend condolences to the Luppi/Abbott family with the passing of your Joanne: a great gardener and mentor to hundreds of us at CHS. Her kind hearted way no matter the situation and her giving thru volunteering will remain an inspiration to us all. May your memories bring comfort.
