Joanne E. MacDonald, 81, of Tomball, TX, passed away at home on Tuesday, February 3, 2015. She was the beloved wife of Gerald R. MacDonald, Sr. She was born in Sunbury, PA on December 30, 1933, a daughter to the late Warren and Elizabeth (Bogart) Zook. She graduated from Swatara High School in the class of 1951. She was active in various volleyball leagues and a member of the Colonial Country Club. Joanne dearly loved her husband of 61 years and was proud of Jerry’s accomplishments both as an executive with AMP, and his performance as the oldest player on the TV program, Big Brother. In addition to her loving husband, Gerald, Sr., she is survived by her children, Gerald R. MacDonald, Jr. of Dallastown, and Linda Gonzalez of Magnolia, TX; 5 grandchildren, Bradley, Kelly, Andrea, Gerald III, and Carter; 9 great grandchildren; and her step-brother, Dick Zook of CA. Viewing will be Saturday, February 7, 2015 from 10-11am at Jesse H. Geigle Funeral Home, Harrisburg, with a funeral service to begin at 11am. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
