Not sure what to say?

Sorry it has taken me so long - still cannot believe this.... Seems like yesterday... waiting in the park on that early October morn - you were late, again....I expected nothing less LOL!!! The weather was perfect, #399 and her 4 cubs were out and her daughter #610 and her cubs were posing.... I had stopped in Jackson and bought us breakfast and lunch so our day would not be interrupted.... I waited and waited, texted and texted.... such a perfect day to shoot together in the park again...

The Riverside horsie crowd

Camping was always a "hoot" with JoAnne

An infectious laugh. Always a smile. Friend to all.

I am so sad to hear of Joanne‘s death. She was a dear friend and great neighbor during her time here in Riverside. She was always one to say yes to what ever adventurous scheme was being planned; a pack trip through the Canadian Rocks, skiing at Mammoth, numerous riding and camping trips from the deserts to mountains. May the memory of Joanne’s unique laughter bring smiles to those who were blessed to call her a friend. Let thoughts of her give you a ‘happy heart’.

My mother just called me to tell me if JoAnne’s passing. This is a shock to me, as I am sure it is to all who knew and loved JoAnne. She came into my life in 1974, right after I had moved to KC. She walked down the street and knocked on my door to welcome me to KC, and the rest is history. We had so many fun memories of high school and beyond, and although she never lived close after school, when we got together, her friendship was always cherished! Yes, her infectious laugh and...

JoAnne and I were soulmates. We shared the same birthday and a wonderful Aunt and Niece relationship. She was a fabulous artist and a wonderful, upbeat spirit. I will miss her tremendously. All my love to Lou, Jim and Mike and families.
Auntie Christine

We have not known JoAnne for too many years, but we liked her right away. We met her through our friend, Tim Good. JoAnne was so intelligent, pleasant, down-to-earth, and easy to laugh. We didn't get to be friends long enough with her; we shall so miss her!

JoAnne and I met at the Calgary Stampede and we shared a booth there for many years. She was a brilliant artist, a kind and loving friend, and had the most infectious laugh that could be heard throughout the whole building. We shared such wonderful times there and I will miss her so much. I wish to send my heartfelt sympathy to her family and friends.
