I only knew Joanne for a short period of time. I loved her spirited personality immediately. She always brought a smile to my Face. She had a brilliant mind and never failed to express her opinion. She will be greatly missed.

Could this be the same Joanne Perloff who taught at East Hartford High in the 1960's? If so, she was a memorable teacher. She had amazing empathy for students. I remember going on a class trip to NYC to see Marat/Sade on Broadway. It was very avant-garde. She had a great impact on my life. I thank her and will always remember her.
