Read MoreI am only seeing this sad news in July 2021. I grew up with Joanne on St. Paul´s Ave and attended PS #6 with her. Mostly remember playing outside in the summer and going in her backyard pool. Loved her laugh! I always thought I´d have the opportunity to see her again. I spoke with Joanne last year during the SDA phonathon, she spoke proudly of her family and how much she missed her Mom. I was so saddened to hear of her passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

I graduated with Joanne from St. Dominic Academy. I have not seen, nor spoken to her since graduation but I remember her as being a cheerful and sweet individual. We spoke on numerous occasions while we were classmates. She had a terrific sense of humor. I was so sorry to hear of her passing. My thoughts and prayers are with her and her family.

went to saint doms torture chamber with jo she had quite a sense of humour and what a laugh! i was always in trouble with those nuns, and did my antics make her crack up ! peace and blessings to her dear family-you know shes crackin em up in heaven
