Not sure what to say?

I met JoAnne 36 years ago. I was her first "offspring Director" in Mary Kay and watched her propel to the heights in that company. JoAnne was one of those rare business women who never crawled over anyone to get to the top. Instead, she brought us all along with her. She was thrilled by the success of others. Her compassion for people was truly a bottomless well. I never thought of her as a "business associate", but always as the faithful and caring friend she proved to be. Hours and hours...

JoAnne will be missed by all the gals at Athleta Brewery Blocks! We all enjoyed outfitting her in our latest fashions while catching up with each other's lives. She made our day so much brighter! Beautiful inside and out.

My sincere and heartfelt sympathy to you Chad and Lexi on the death of your beautiful Mother. Hearing this sad news stunned me last night. I paused and reflected on the countless ways knowing her has influenced my life and the lives of so very many people. JoAnne had so many wonderful traits, but I believe she was the best "listener" I've ever known. When you were speaking with her, she was totally focused on you and your needs. Nothing could or would distract her. She was simply the best -...

I have been blessed to know JoAnne. I have done her hair for around 3 years. She loved to look good, and that was one of her ways to make herself feel good. She would always talk so highly of her kids and grand kids. Always positive and happy. I looked forward to seeing her every week. I loved spending time with her. A true example of the perfect lady and friend. I will miss her kind heart, her hugs, her laugh, and smile. She was one of a kind.

It was my deep honor to call JoAnne my friend. I worked for Jo in the early 1990s while she lived in Stevensville. I was her personal assistant when she became a National Sales Director. I cannot begin to share all of the things I learned from her. It never failed to amaze me how she could be sick as could be, and then would suit up, hold a meeting, and no one would be any the wiser how sick she was. We would sit at the table and share lunch, or breakfast, and just chat. Not about Mary...

My heart goes out to JoAnne's family and everyone else who loved this exceptional woman who touched so many people. Her caring and guidance was a transformative influence in my life. I will be forever grateful to her and both mourn her passing and celebrate her life.

So saddened by the news of joann's passing....she was my Mary Kay Director for 10 years & I am eternally indebted to her positive influence in my life. My prayers & thoughts are with you Chad & Lexi.

I had the special privilege of doing JoAnne's hair for the last few months. The minute she walked in my salon I fell in love with her! She was beautiful inside and out! Every time I saw her she proudly showed me pictures of her grandkids, and the last time she was in I helped her sign up for Instagram so she could follow Free People and Anderson Cooper!! JoAnne was so sweet and elegant and had a way of making me feel special in her presence, I'm sure I wasn't alone in this! I will miss her...
