Not sure what to say?

I have only seen this today, long after. It is so sad even now, We spent many years in grad school and after in discussions over coffee, in concerts, in Regenstein Library and such. She was a truly remarkable human being.

Dear Rubins and Gallers. I went to grade school with
Joanne in Chicago and lived on Jerome also. I will always remember Joanne and her family and their two dogs, Sugar and Maggie. I am really saddened to hear from another Rogers student she passed away.

My heart goes out to you all. We can only daven that you find comfort in the memories and deeds of Joanne, a remarkable human being. We were privileged to know her for too short a time and she will inspire us always. May G-d comfort you among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.

Dear Steve, Isaac, and Rachel,
I am sorry for your loss.
Joanne amazingly found time to help me through a difficult time by sharing some of her thoughts and beliefs. She impressed upon me how valuable proper diet and exercise are and with great generosity gave me a gift of an hour of personal training at our gym. I was privileged to call her friend. I miss her and miss seeing her around the gym.
I am sorry for your loss.
