Fran and I had the good fortune to meet Jody & Wish approximatly 39 years ago as neighbors. My step children Deb & Ross would always be at their house or ours with Donna in play. Jody was always a very energetic person who loved life, kids and her home. She was good to everyone who came in contact with her.
I'll miss you Jody.

Dear Joanne's family: I met "Aunt" Joanne when I was reunited with my birthfamily (Joanne was the sister of my birthdad, Paul Frick). Joanne welcomed me with open arms and shared stories about her and her brothers as they were growing up together! I can tell by other guestbook entries...she was a very special person. I am so glad I had the chance to meet her! May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

I will always have Aunt Joanne in my heart. Her smile and love of life will always be with me. I treasure the times we spent in Redding when I was growing up. Thank you Aunt Joanne for being a part of my life. My thoughts and prayers are with you all, Uncle Wish, Suzzy, Billy and Donna, I love you all.

Aunt Joanne - I could never get used to Jody, was more like a big sister to me that an Aunt. She gave me her unconditional love and support. I was lucky enough to have her in my life for almost 58 years- each and everyday, I carry her in my heart. I will miss her being where I can reach out and talk to her, but will treasure her in my heart as always. If you ever were lucky enough to spend time with Joanne and her family, you will know that the Wishon's are very special people. She was...

No matter where she is today, Mama Jody remains next to me in my heart. She continues being Gramma Jody for Spencer, my son, as sure as the day I wrote the following:
For Jody & Wish: May 2007
Love, Debbie
I remember the day so vividly
Back in the summer of ‘73
My family moved from Cottonwood to Redding
I had no idea where we were heading
The Wishon’s down the road a house or two
Left their door open as if they knew
We’d be coming and going as the...

I just wan to say thank you to the Wishon Family for sharing Jody with me for the past 35 years. Jody was my Godmother and so much more. She was like a Aunt to me and then like a grandmother to me when mine passed away. Jody also thought me so many things, like how to love people no matter who they were are what they were. She thought me to open my heart to everybody. She tought me not to judge a book by it cover. I love her for that and I will always love her. I was so proud and luck...
